CASTROL TRIBOL™ 3020/1000 fluid greases with TGOA™ were designed for applications which require goodpumpability of the lubricant and properties to withstand heavy loads. In gear units which are not sealed oil-tight and inlarge slow-speed bearings the CASTROL TRIBOL 3020/1000 greases provide for a sufficient lubricating film due to theirhigh base oil viscosity.The TGOA additive package outperforms all other EP and antiwear additives because of its unique action onfrictionalsurfaces.CASTROL TRIBOL 3020/1000 have a lithium soap as thickener. The base oils are high-viscosity mineral oilsforming a stable lubricant film to withstand high continuous loads, shock loads and vibrations.The TGOA additive package is activated by high specific loads and corresponding temperatures causing achemicalphysical reaction. This results in an equalization of surface roughness without creating abrasion.The results of the TGOA additives can be compared with a rolling process in the micro-range. The surfaceroughnesses are gradually leveled and smoothed.Through smoothing of the working surfaces, the loads are distributed over increasing areas and the actual loadcarrying areas are enlarged. During the running-in process, the TGOA additive package creates an optimum ofsmooth contact surfaces.If, because of shock loads, or stop-and-go operation, surface roughness peaks redevelop, the TGOA additives areautomatically reactivated. Surface roughness is again equalized and lubrication optimized.Corrosion and oxidation inhibitors maximize effective rust protection and long life of the grease.CASTROL TRIBOL 3020/1000 meet NLGI consistency grades commonly available for these types of lubricants.

Castrol Tribol™ GR 100 PD (previously called Longtime™ PD) is a range of lithium based greases containing highlyrefined mineral oils, enhanced with the MicroFlux Trans (MFT) additive system.The MFT additive technology provides optimum wear protection and an extremely low coefficient of friction even underextremes of pressure, vibration, shock loads, at high or low speeds or varying micro-smoothing of the friction surfaces.Under severe load, components of the MFT additive combination are activated, initiating an improvement of surfacefriction characteristics through plastic deformation. The products of that organic reation become a component of thetribopolymer system.Unlike the case with conventional lubricants, the tribopolymers formed by MFT are long-chained compounds withexcellent lubricity and adhesion. Molub-Alloy TM 6040 grease is based on a unique calcium-complex sulphonate thickener containing premium petroleum base oils with select additives for extreme pressure characteristics and thin-film, high-pressure, anti-wear protection. Thickeners using calcium sulphonate have inherent anti-oxidant and rust-inhibiting properties, along with high dropping points and extreme pressure (EP) /anti-wear characteristics. CASTROL MOLUB-ALLOY® 936 SF HEAVY is a uniquely compounded open gear lubricantdeveloped specifically for use on heavy-duty equipment in mining and industrial service. It forms atough lubricating film on the friction surfaces which is resistant to pressure and shock loads as well asunfavorable ambient conditions.The structural integrity and strength of the lubricating film is particularly valuable in the criticalprocess of running in new gears because of the natural occurrence of high spots (asperities) in newlymachined surfaces.
